The Sherry Rare Pair

Among the thick granite walls and earthen floors of Glen Garioch’s dunnage warehouses, our spirit is resting and maturing in a rich array of Oloroso Sherry casks, producing some of our most favourite and memorable expressions. The distinct honeyed fruit and malty spice character of Glen Garioch marries beautifully with the rich dark fruit and nuttiness of an Oloroso Sherry cask. Join us celebrating the journey of sherry maturation from beginning to end: starting with our new make spirit and moving through a selection of sherry matured single cask Glen Garioch expressions. All paired alongside a sherry inspired charcuterie selection of dry cured meats, cheeses, fruit, nuts and chocolate. At a glance: Explore Glen Garioch and the art of Sherry Maturation in a whisky tasting and food pairing experience. This experience is designed to focus solely on the tasting and does not include a distillery tour. This experience is exclusively for adults over 18. For any driver in your party, we have takeaway drams, to ensure everyone can enjoy a taste of our craftsmanship. Silent Seasons:Creating our complex and perfectly flavoured Glen Garioch Single Malt is a labour of love, and like all distilleries, we need to dedicate some time for essential maintenance and improvements to enhance our facilities. This is usually planned, but sometimes things happen to surprise us. No matter what’s happening, we will always provide you with a warm welcome and let you see as much as we can.
