“Great little independent Distillery. Fabulous Discovery tour, Emma was brilliant and even gave us a free extra dram of the unpeated Organic. Love these smaller distilleries much better than the big corporates and you get a real feel for how whisky is made. And the whisky is lovely.”

“My family and I stopped at this distillery on our way to Inverness this summer. I had never heard or tried this distillers scotch and added to my places to stop while in Scotland. I’m glad I did! Didn’t have time to do the tour( limited on time ) but did a tasting of two staples the 15 yr and 21 yr and then by suggestion one of their distillery exclusive. I loved the 21 yr and the exclusive but chose the exclusive because of its heavier peat side. The quaint bar area and tasting was nice and felt more intimate than others and with limited merch I felt more focused on why I came here which was for the whisky. All staff were nice and facilities clean and well maintained. Would recommend anyone who is on the area to stop.”

“Having toured a lot of Scotland’s whisky regions, this was hands-down the best distillery experience we had. Benromach feels genuine and welcoming from the moment you arrive - no gimmicks, just people who clearly care about what they do. Emma was a fantastic guide: clear, engaging, and pitched perfectly as we walked through each stage of the process. The tasting was equally professional and thoughtfully led, and it really highlighted how much of a family the team are. This is my new favourite distillery, and I’d recommend the tour as a must-do for anyone visiting Speyside. Thank you so much for the hospitality.”

“We visited Benromach on Monday for a tour and tasting, all the staff (and specifically Bob, who gave us the tour) were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and the tour was fantastic, seeing the traditional methods of distilling Whisky. Since the distillery is quite small, the machinery and process is so clearly laid out and you see everything in a lot of details. Also the whisky is great. I was driving and they provided the drams in glasses for me to smell and then a driver's pack (3 small bottles) for me to take home to drink. If you are interested in the process of making whisky, they give you the details you may not get in automated larger distillery's. We will be going back to check the gin out next time we are in Forres.”

“Popped into the shop on Saturday when while we were in the area for the weekend. Humans and dogs made to feel very welcome, the staff were extremely knowledgeable and told us lots about all the different whiskies. The whisky was lovely and two bottles were purchased.”
